The guilt of releasing a loved one (or loved one's) into the care of others, or an institution, can often feel overwhelming, even debilitating. You're most likely experiencing a lot of uncertainty, guilt, and/or confusion regarding what is best and what options are available in your community.
The most common questions we encounter are...
Which institution should I choose?
What does each facility provide (short-term rehabilitation, respite, hospice, palliative care, long-term care, or memory care)?
Are there activities/events to keep my loved one engaged and entertained?
How much does long-term care cost?
Will insurance cover the cost of long-term care in a nursing home?
How do I apply for Medicaid?
There are so many questions that can come to mind when considering long-term placement. We're here to help you make an informed decision. Understanding your options is an essential part of the placement process.
Our nurses are exceptional and provide extraordinary service. They KNOW the ins and outs of long-term care and can help guide you in the right direction.
